Level 1 Insurance Broker

Location: Ponoka, Ab

Type: Full Time or Part Time

 

We are currently seeking a Level 1 Insurance Broker for our Ponoka, Alberta office. Jones Agencies is seeking an individual with basic insurance skills who understands the importance and value of customer service. This is as relatively high paced role designed to support all staff in the office. As we are a smaller office, this is a great way to learn and develop your skills in this industry. You will receive training directly from the level 2’s in the office. You will be a valued team member here, not just an employee.

We are licensed to offer products across all of Alberta.

 

This role is paid hourly and can be either a full time or part time role; with competitive pay, benefits, and an accommodating schedule.

 

Primary Accountabilities

  • Completed Auto and Personal Lines Transactions
  • Review policy renewals internally and with the client informing them of their current coverages and optional coverages available.
  • Provide advice and guidance to clients to allow them to make informed knowledgeable decisions regarding their insurance needs.
  • Resolve client/account inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • General office and administrative duties 

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Level 1 General Insurance License – or actively working towards
  • Will accept newly licensed individuals, preferably a minimum 1 year of experience in the Insurance Industry if not yet licensed.
  • Experienced in Outlook, Excel, and Word. Experience with Applied Systems would also be an asset

Administrative Assistant & Receptionist

Location: Ponoka, Ab

  • Completed Transactions in office and online credit card payments for clients.
  • Answer phone calls and greet clients.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks in the office and support the other Team Members

  • Previous Customer service and office experience preferred
